Run for your health.
Run for your happiness.
Run for your life.

Run for Your Life is intended to celebrate our ability to get out and move and have fun while doing it. Run, walk or roll your way to better health. The run will have two levels: a 4-mile trail run, and a 2-mile fun run/walk on an accessible paved path.

The event will raise awareness of multiple sclerosis. Proceeds will support the critical work of the Oregon State University Multiple Sclerosis Exercise Program. For 15 years this program has been providing individualized physical activity instruction free of charge for people with multiple sclerosis (MS).

Four-mile run

The 4-mile trail run winds its way through the woods and along the river on the trails between Willamette Park and Crystal Lake Fields. Why 4 miles? Because that's what it took to make just the right route. It will be fun! It will be timed and prizes to the top winners in each age category. No strollers or pets, please. First prize ribbons will be awarded in these categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 and over. Overall male and female winners will get first pick of the prize donations.

Two-mile fun run/walk

The 2-mile fun run/walk takes the paved pathway from Willamette Park Shelter through the Crystal Lake Fields and back. It is an accessible path appropriate for wheelchairs and strollers. First place certificates will be awarded to the first male and female to finish. The winners will choose a prize donation.
